Tonight is the premiere in Munich of the Audi A7

World premiere of the Audi A7 is tonight at the Museum Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich.
In Internet, however, already circulating the first official photos of the model and information about it. Audi A7 launches a new family of the company from Ingolstadt, which will be located between the upper and middle class A6 luxury sedan petmetrova A8.

Indeed, the founder of this segment was a few years ago Mercedes-Benz with its four-door coupe CLS. Audi showed a concept in its class with a smaller model with a five-door A5 Sportback. Family A7 is similar in design to the A5 Sportback, but with a length of almost five meters. Closest competitor in the A7 will be BMW 5 Gran Turismo, which, however, there are a lot higher.

Audi A7 will look for buyers among the same group that is interested and the Mercedes CLS. The technical characteristics of A7 are similar to those of the future generation of A6.

According to yet informal information engines A7 will be petrol 3.0 TFSI (200 kW) supercharged V8 and atmospheric volume with 4.2 FSI (277 kW), and the turbodiesel 3.0 TDI (184 kW) and 4.2 TDI (258 kW). All versions will be a continuous transmission of movement to all four wheels (Quattro), a standard transmission will be dual-clutch seven degrees (S tronic).

At a later stage will also be “hot” versions S7 and RS7. The design of the coupe with four seats A7 is based on the concept shown last year, Audi Sportback Concept. Differences in details of appearance and interior, which resembles that of the Audi A8.
